Monica Vejar most recently performed in Forgotten Theater's Under Milk Wood by Dylan Thomas. Previously, she performed in Love's Labour's Lost by William Shakespeare (Sac City College); Vagina Monologues (California State University, Sacramento (CSUS)); and Enslaved by Rubén Amavizca-Murúa (Teatro Espejo). One of her most interesting roles to date was the character of Lil Bit in Paula Vogel's How I learned to Drive, (CSUS). In 2018 she will be performing in Resurrection Theatre's Balm in Gilead by Landford Wilson.

She studied English at CSUS and recently has been studying acting under the esteemed actress and director Janis Stevens.

Monica looks forward to bringing the character of Madge Geisel from The Games Afoot to the stage and appreciates Theatre In the Heights' Blake Flores' direction.
