Kenneth Cates began his acting career in 1988 at Brazosport College in Lake Jackson, TX.

He received his Bachelors of Fine Arts in Theatre Arts at Southwest Texas State University and went on to earn a teaching certificate in Secondary Theatre Arts. Kenneth is a veteran of over thirty stage productions and has worked in Film and Television. He is currently represented by the Marla Dell Talent Agency in San Francisco. Kenneth served in the United States Navy, the Texas Army National guard and U.S. Naval Reserves. This production is Kenneth's first stage appearance in 13 years. His last appearance was in 2006 playing Italian Opera Star Tito Morelli in Ken Ludwig's "Lend Me a Tenor" at the Sheldon Vexler Theatre in San Antonio, TX.
