Ken began his acting career in 2016 at the urging of his daughter, who encouraged him to make
the leap from theater parent to actor. He joined her in his first show-Sutter Street Theatre's
production of Pippi Longstocking-playing Captain Longstocking and Otto the Strongman, then earned
his first lead role as Scrooge in A Suessified Christmas Carol, for which he won an Ellie Award for
Leading Male Adult in a Youth Performance. In 2017 he performed in four theater productions, two
with his daughter and one-The Hobbit-with both his daughter and his son Riley, who won an Ellie
for his performance as Gollum. Ken also tried his hand at movies in the role of Devin's Dad in
the short film: From the (Mad) Genius Mind of Devin. Ken has continued to grow as an actor and feels
fortunate to earn a place among the company at Theatre in the Heights, joining the incredible cast
of The Games Afoot. 2017 has been an amazing year, and Ken hopes 2018 will bring new challenges
and exciting roles. Finally, he wants to acknowledge his wife Heather who is truly the "…best of
wives and best of women…" for her role as loving and supportive theater mom and drama widow
